I specialize in the use of motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral styles of therapy.
I work with children, adolescents , adults, couples and families. I enjoy working with those persons emotionally and mentally challenged who are experiencing the following symptoms: depression, anxiety, life adjustment disorders, anger management, separation anxiety, couples counseling issues, life coaching, grief and loss, bereavement including divorce, diagnosis of childhood and adult DD and autism spectrum disorders, self esteem issues, attention deficit disorders, trauma and PTSD, childhood anxiety, spiritual counseling, disability and SSI issues and stress management and relaxation techniques with the use of mindfulness practices.
I earned a BS in Psychology from Madonna University with a MA in Guidance and Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2005. I also possess a post-grad certificate in Bereavement from Madonna University and Certificate in Life Coaching earned in 2010.
I work from a holistic stand point with the integration of mind, body and spirit incorporated in a philosophy of total healing. Each person is a unique individual and deserves to live their best life. The first appointment will be an intake process where I will get to know you and your current goals for therapy.
My office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00-9:00 pm and Saturdays by appointment. I work with all age groups currently and I am accepting new patients.
