Additional Information: Mr. MacIntosh's history includes private practice along with agency work with the Livonia Counseling Center and Neighborhood Service Organization, and for eleven years he was a Court Clinical Psychologist with Oakland County Family Court. He has also worked with the State of Michigan Department of Corrections, as well as being an adjunct instructor for Oakland Community College.
He brings KaraLee and Associates considerable experience working with Attorneys and Judges and clients in need of counseling and behavior modification. Also, as a Court Clinical Psychologist he served as an expert witness in hundreds of cases and was responsible for assessment, developing treatment plans and individual and group intervention. While working for the State of Michigan, Mr. MacIntosh was responsible for individual and group counseling of incarcerated adolescents and young adults.
Along with serving families, individial adults and adolescent clientele, Mr. MacIntosh also teaches Awareness Meditation which can be used for stress reduction and chronic pain reduction as well as for general improvement of your daily life. Restoring the natural balance to all areas of life and addressing the conflict that can drain our energy and emotional resources is the central area of focus for Mr. MacIntosh. "When our life is in balance it is much easier to adjust to change thrust upon us from external sources, and right now, Michigan is in perpetual flux adjusting to the new economic realities that have affected much of the country."
